Gretel & Hansel

Gretel & Hansel is a amazing point and click game from Makopudding and the Gretel-Team.
The game is made in watercolors which gives a real old fairy-tale feel and also adds with the horror theme the makers has chosen for their take on the well-known story about Hansel and Gretel.
They recently uploaded Gretel & Hansel 2 which is even more scary and horrifying than the first!

You play as Gretel in both games and your job is to get you and your brother safely to and through the woods. You get medals for different deaths and in Gretel & Hansel 2 there is even a secret room for everyone who manages to die the 14 (!) unique deaths.

Try out this amazing game here:

If you don't have time to finish the games in one go, notice that the game will save itself and let you continue where you stopped next time you load it.

Enjoy this sick and twisted game!

Improv Everywhere

"Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, IE has executed over 100 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City."
Quoted from their youtube channel.

These videos both makes me happy and moved, take a look at some real improvisation and see how great unknowing people can be.

You find most of their work here:

Muto by Blu

Still going with the bizarre theme, heres a video by a amazing artist called Blu. This is animation at its best in my opinion. Using the streets and buildings Buenos Aires and Baden and a couple of buckets white and black paint, Blu has made the walls come to life.

I've shown this video to many people the last couple of years and I've come to realise that not everyone shares the same fascination of his work. It seems to be either love it or hate it. Sit back and have a look at "Muto" and see which side you are on!

Bizarre Vectorpark

Vectorpark loves the bizarre, loves the surreal and loves leaving you clueless of what the point in their games really is. I happened to stumble upon "Feed the head" one night and I found myself stuck by the screen. You click, point and discover, which seems to be the way all the Vectorpark games works.

Click here for "Feed the head".
Click here for the Vectorpark homepage where you will find all their games including "Windosill".

Enjoy the weirdness!

Do the daft punk

This console lets you do the robotic voice in the Daft Punk hits "Harder Better Faster Stronger" and "Technologic". It is pretty fun to try it out! Click the play button in the left upper corner for backing beats, hold in shift for high pitch and use the specific letters on the keyboard for the robot voice!

Photoshop Disasters

Lets photoshop a hand with a ice cream in so it looks like shes got the munchies. Just DONT forget to remove the other hand! Ooops.

When magazines, newspapers and companies fails with photoshop, these guys are here collecting all the evidence and displaying it in this very funny blog. Here you'll find everything from ghost-hands, evidence of photoshopping of models, missing legs and ads gone wrong. Sometimes I wish they would explain what is wrong in every picture, especially the ones that aren't as obvious as in the ones I've linked here. If you feel a bit clueless you could always read the blog authors comments below them or check out the labels. Sometimes they are helpful!

Illusions

Pavement art by Edgar Muller

I've always been fascinated by illusions and especially ones like the picture above. I found this page some months ago and have been eagerly following it since. The page I link you to now is dedicated to illusions of all sorts, it has daily optical illusions and even a "random illusion" button. I would be careful using that button if you are scared of so-called "screamers" and rather use the categories on the right side to avoid scary illusions.

Can you see the man hiding in this picture?

Music brings people together

My brother linked me this page about a year ago. Its 20 youtube videos with different people playing different instruments/singing/talking, and you can decide yourself what you want to hear and in what order. Make your own mix and be moved by how music can bring so many different people together over the net.

I don't know if there is much more to say about this but try it!!

Coma

Coma is a weird and amazing flash game I found on Newgrounds some weeks ago. Coma was created by Thomas Brush who spent more than a year to create this little game. The music is good and calming, plot is exciting and surroundings weird and melancholic. I saw a review on the net which put it pretty good saying;
"If you play one flash game this week, make it Coma."

I just wish the game wasn't that short..

Welcome to my blog of links and whatnot!

Exciting! Woop!

I'm gonna start off the blog with the games which are my favorites at the moment, and thats the games of Mateusz Skutnik from Poland.

I happened to stumble upon a game called "Submachine" about a week ago while on a endless hunt for good escape games online. I absolutely loved this game and was happily surprised when I realised it was only the first in a long line of Submachine-games. Some of them are quite hard, some of them requires alot of time, but all of them have walkthroughs which will keep you from getting stuck for hours. I do recommend trying to solve them yourself before using a walkthrough, it is amazingly fun to actually solve one of these games on your own.

After finishing the whole Submachine series I looked a bit through Mateuszs other games and found a pearl of a series I am still working on.

Daymare town

This game is quite creepy and sometimes even a bit jumpy. Daymare Town is better than the Submachine series in my opinion. I simply love the way this whole game is put together.
I havent finished dmt3 yet but I can promise no screamers in dmt1 and 2, a few jumpy scenes but nothing too bad.

Enjoy!!
